BASF to showcase sustainable solutions in booth #819
MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, March 25, 2014 /CNW/ - Hans Engel, Chairman and CEO of BASF Corporation and Chief Financial Officer, BASF SE, will be featured as the keynote speaker in a live one-on-one interview with Marc Gunther, Co-Chair, Fortune Brainstorm Green, during the opening plenary of GLOBE 2014 in Vancouver, B.C., on Wednesday, March 26 at 8:30 a.m.
As an elite level sponsor, BASF will highlight the diversity of its product portfolio and demonstrate how chemistry is enabling customers to meet the current and future needs of society.
In addition to Engel's interview, the company will present innovative solutions for a sustainable future in the trade fair booth #819, where representatives from across industries will host interactive presentations on topics ranging from water preservation to zero-waste.
Two BASF executives will also participate in panel discussions:
- Charlene Wall-Warren, Sustainability Director for BASF in North America, will discuss "Transformational Sustainability Strategies," on March 26 at 10:45 a.m.
- Cristian Barcan, Head of Applied Sustainability and SET, for BASF in the Americas and Asia Pacific, will discuss "Emerging Drivers of the Circular Economy," on March 27 at 10:45 a.m.
