According to data obtained from technology performance expert Compuware, Entrust's average response time for checking the revocation status of SSL certificates is 68 percent faster than the average of other leading certification authorities (CA).
Entrust's ability to leverage website optimization technology helps dramatically improve global performance and stability. Website performance is directly impacted by the speed of the revocation checks, and the site's uptime is affected by the resiliency of a revocation service. Revocation services, which vary between CAs, are critical to customer security.
