MISSISSAUGA, ON, Jan. 3, 2014 /CNW/ - Nissan announced today total Canadian sales for December 2013 of 91,551 units, an increase of 11.4% compared to last year. In 2013, Nissan sold 82,604 vehicles in Canada, an increase of 11.3 percent over 2012 and the best annual sales total in Nissan Canada's history.

Nissan Division December & 2013 highlights:

  • Nissan Division set annual records in 2013 for total deliveries
  • Rogue crossover had its best-ever December and year, up  17.8 per cent for the year and 99.8 per cent for the month with the all-new 2014 model now available
  • All-electric Nissan LEAF sales totalled 470, up 95.8 per cent for the year and its best year ever
  • Sentra sales were up more than 30 per cent to 14,407 units in 2013
  • Pathfinder sales rose nearly 200 per cent in 2013, with 7,936 units sold
  • Frontier had its best December ever with 249 units sold, up 42.3 per cent over the same month last year
  • Nissan will unveil the Sports Sedan Concept on Jan. 14 at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
