GoodLife Fitness Opens its doors to Atlantic Canada Residents in need during the Severe Winter Weather Power Outages

LONDON, ON, Dec. 24, 2013 /CNW/ - Atlantic Canada residents recently affected by severe winter weather and ice storms, who are experiencing power outages, are invited to use the showers and change room facilities at a GoodLife Fitness Club in their area.

Residents are encouraged to visit to find a convenient Club nearby, if they are in need.

Please note the following:

  1. Please call the Club ( to find Club locations and phone numbers) before travelling to ensure that the Club is not also affected by the power outages.
  2. Residents (over 12-years-old) will need to show Photo ID and sign a guest waiver to utilize the Club showers and change room amenities. Children under 12-years-old are welcome to use our child minding program while parents/guardians are on-site at the Club.

"We want to help any Atlantic Canada residents who have been affected by the ice storm," said David Patchell-Evans, GoodLife Fitness Founder & CEO. "We have great facilities and can provide this service, so we wanted to do something to assist those in need, especially during the holiday season. I hope that we'll be able to make a difference for some people at this time."
