GoodLife Fitness Opens its doors to Ontario Residents in need during the Ice Storm Power Outages

TORONTO, Dec. 23, 2013 /CNW/ - Ontario residents recently affected by the severe winter weather and ice storm, who are experiencing power outages, are invited to use the showers and change room facilities at a GoodLife Fitness Club in their area.

Ontario residents are encouraged to visit goodlifefitness.com to find a convenient Club nearby, if they are in need.

Please note the following:

  1. Please call the Club (goodlifefitness.com to find Club locations and phone numbers) before travelling to ensure that the Club is not also affected by the power outages.
  2. Residents (over 12-years-old) will need to show Photo ID and sign a guest waiver to utilize the Club showers and change room amenities. Children under 12-years-old are welcome to use JUMP!, our child minding program during regularly scheduled hours for the JUMP! Program at each Club (JUMP! schedules can be found on goodlifefitness.com), while parents/guardians are on-site at the Club.

"We want to help any Ontario resident who has been affected by the ice storm," said David Patchell-Evans, GoodLife Fitness Founder & CEO. "We have great facilities and can provide this service, so we wanted to do something to assist those in need, especially during the holiday season. I hope that we'll be able to make a difference for some people at this time."
