About PACHI
PACHI the porcupine is the official mascot of the TORONTO 2015 Games.

PACHI was originally designed by four Grade 8 students from Markham, Ontario, who scored 92 per cent on the school assignment that ultimately led them to winning the TORONTO 2015 Mascot Creation Challenge.

The mascot is a key component of the Games' identity and a playful way to engage a young audience and, at the same time, increase understanding of the Pan American and Parapan American Games.
