Presidents of Enterprising Organizations (PEO) appoints Chief Development Officer
TORONTO, Oct. 21, 2013 /CNW/ - Presidents of Enterprising Organizations (PEO) today announced the major appointment of Miguel Gonsalves as Chief Development Officer.
As Canada's pre-eminent leadership and performance organization, PEO's clear goal is to expand by increasing the scope of its membership base. Mr. Gonsalves, a seasoned executive who has served Canadian telecom, wireless, high tech and management consulting for over twenty-five years, will provide dedicated leadership focus to PEO's growth strategy.
"Miguel's addition to our organization underpins our strategy to carefully build on our existing success by adding the best-suited complement of Canadian business leaders to our coveted membership base," said Leon Goren, CA, PEO's President and CEO. "We are now well-positioned for this next phase of membership growth. More quality leaders connecting and growing together will contribute additional value to our members and the Canadian business landscape."
PEO distinguishes itself by combining three key strengths:

- Proprietary leadership development tools and methodologies
- The leverage of PEO's entire community to accelerate leadership and organizational development results
Before joining PEO, Mr. Gonsalves, the President and senior consultant at NeoCortex Inc., had a successful career in the high tech wireless industry. "Most importantly, he strongly believes in the value that PEO provides to its members."
"I'm excited to apply my skills with an organization that is dedicated to cultivating leadership excellence," Gonsalves said. "I personally interviewed many PEO members and I am impressed by the tremendous impact PEO has had on its participants and their respective companies. It will be fun and fulfilling to extend those experiences and opportunities to other business leaders across this country."
PEO is an organization that has been built - with people, products and services - around its singular and provocative passion for enabling leaders to realize their potential through Connecting, Thinking and Growing. PEO works with Boards, Chief Executives, Presidents, business owners and senior executives to develop and/or refine personal, professional and ultimately organizational growth trajectories. Their methodology entails years of experience and expertise from their Executive Advisors, a high trust, objective Peer Advisory Team experience and a unique understanding of how to leverage the collective intelligence of their entire leadership community.
