MISSISSAUGA, ON, Sept. 24, 2013 /CNW/ - Kia Canada Inc. is pleased to announce a first of its kind agreement that will provide the sharing of vehicle data between Kia Canada and CarProof. This will enable potential customers purchasing pre-owned Kia vehicles from a non-Kia dealership source the ability to purchase with peace of mind.
Kia is the first automobile manufacturer to share recall data with CarProof. This new initiative will provide CarProof customers with critical data concerning their purchase of a used Kia vehicle including any open recalls, and mileage.
Customers will benefit from verification that all outstanding recalls have been completed prior to purchase at a Kia Canada dealership. Additionally, this new alignment will allow for customers to develop a relationship with their local Kia dealership's service department if there are any outstanding recalls.
