Quebec is looking for entrepreneurial project ideas with the Get entrepreneurial challenge!
An invitation to all high schools in the province
MONTREAL, Sept. 17, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - In order to encourage youth to develop innovative ideas and promote entrepreneurship, the Réseau des carrefours jeunesse-emploi du Québec (RCJEQ) presents the Get entrepreneurial challenge!, an entrepreneurial project idea competition for all high school students.
"This new challenge was developed specifically for the youth and it enables them to improve their knowledge of entrepreneurship and develop projects that will have positive impacts both on themselves and in their community." says Alexandre Soulières, executive director at the RCJEQ.
Under the supervision of the 98 entrepreneurship awareness and promotion officers, high school students are invited to participate, before October 16th, in this entrepreneurial competition organized as part of the National Entrepreneurship Day. To win the 2,000$ award, teams will have to complete several steps including a regional competition in front of a jury, an online ballot and a provincial finals. They will also have to create a short promotional video in which they will present their idea.
While promoting entrepreneurship early in these students' lives, the Get entrepreneurial Challenge! will allow them to develop some entrepreneurial skills such as creativity, leadership, teamwork and determination.
