The acquisition does not include the recently completed third TPB feature film, tentatively titled 'Trailer Park Boys 3: Don't Legalize It'. However, aside from this third feature, the assets acquired include all prior TV series, specials, the first and second feature films and all their combined assets and underlying intellectual property rights.
Clattenburg, Dunn and Volpe are very happy Robb, John Paul and Mike will continue the TPB brand. "While the three of us have moved on to different TV and film projects, the Boys are the only ones with the intimate knowledge and love of the show to keep Trailer Park Boys alive and well," says Mike Clattenburg.
When informed the cameras would be returning to Sunnyvale to follow them around again, the Boys made the following comment:
"The camera dicks are coming back? This is gonna be f#@*ed!!"
This is all sure to please fans worldwide who have been waiting patiently to see the antics continue in Sunnyvale Trailer Park.
