LOS ANGELES, May 13, 2013 /CNW/ - CTV announced today from the L.A. Screenings that it has acquired BETHENNY, a new, nationally syndicated daytime talk show hosted by TV personality, four-time New York Times best-selling author, and founder of the Skinnygirl empire, Bethenny Frankel (@Bethenny). Frankel brings her uniquely honest and playful perspective to daytime television, real, and unfiltered, five days a week.
BETHENNY joins CTV's #1 daytime line-up as a companion to the new CTV Original Series, THE SOCIAL, with both series set to debut this fall. BETHENNY is the first acquisition for CTV's new Fall 2013 schedule from the annual L.A. Screenings, which officially began today. CTV's full fall schedule will be revealed on June 6.
From Executive Producers Bethenny Frankel, Ellen DeGeneres, Terence Noonan, Meghan Schaefer Spielberg, and Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution, BETHENNY will air on CTV, CTV Mobile, the CTV App, and Bell Media's specialty channel E!.

"Bethenny has an incredibly diverse and loyal fan base, and is an inspiring brand herself," said Phil King, President, CTV Programming and Sports. "Her biting one-liners and sassy advice will be a fun addition to CTV's #1 daytime lineup."
"Hosting a talk show last summer and connecting with women every day made me realize that I have found my true passion," said Frankel. "I am so excited for the Fall launch and the show coming to Canada. My heartfelt thanks go out to my dedicated fans who tuned in and helped make this great opportunity happen."
Encouraging her audience to love and accept themselves while taking risks to make an impact on their own lives, as well as their family, their friends and on their communities, Bethenny orchestrates it all while maintaining a sense of humor, candidness and distinctive voice and point of view — always coming from a place of YES. The show will cover the topics that women care about most; from love and relationships to celebrities and pop culture and to beauty and fitness, all through Bethenny's own relatable personal and professional life experiences. From fun and spontaneous celebrity interviews to informative takeaways on health and relationship issues, BETHENNY is quickly becoming the go-to destination for women every day to learn, laugh, feel inspired and be transformed and ultimately, in Bethenny's words, "always go for it."
BETHENNY is taped in front of a live studio audience at CBS Broadcast Center in New York City. Bethenny Frankel, Ellen DeGeneres (THE ELLEN DEGENERES SHOW) Terence Noonan (ANDERSON) and Meghan Schaefer Spielberg (MSNBC) serve as Executive Producers. Emmy® Award-winning producers, Mary Connelly, Ed Glavin and Andy Lassner, Executive Producers of THE ELLEN DEGENERES SHOW, serve as Consulting Executive Producers. BETHENNY is produced by Telepictures Productions, an industry leading and Emmy® Award-winning producer of syndicated programming, and A Very Good Production, Ellen DeGeneres' production company. The series is distributed by Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution, one of the leading distributors of first-run and off-network programming.
