What:     LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Toronto's Grand Opening to officially kick off the public opening of Canada's first LEGOLAND Discovery Centre, at Vaughan Mills.

  1. MINILAND - A small version of Toronto, all built from 1.5 million LEGO bricks. Includes some of the top landmarks (CN Tower, Rogers Centre, ACC, The ROM, etc)
  2. Master Model Builder for Toronto, Graeme Dymond
  3. Faulty Towers - This is a part of the attraction that teaches kids about structure building. They build a tower on a platform, and then push a button to make the platform shake. They goal is to build a structure that doesn't fall over.
  4. Merlin's Apprentice - Merlin's Apprentice is a ride in the attraction that encourages kids to be active. Children sit in the carts, which spin around. The kids then must pedal the footpedals to make the cart rise higher and higher. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0zZRFb5YfZ8
