Media Advisory - Jack Mintz to Outline Steps Government Can Take to Help Canadians Save More for Retirement

CALGARY, Feb. 25, 2013 /CNW/ - Years of research has established a troubling trend in Canada.  Canadians, especially younger Canadians, are simply not saving enough money to ensure financial security in retirement.  While individual decisions play a role in the failure to save, government policy matters too, and can be used to help reverse the problem of insufficient retirement saving.  Jack Mintz will release a report on retirement savings policy, and outline the steps he believes government should take to shore up the future for working Canadians.
