TORONTO, Dec. 19, 2012 /CNW/ - Louise Pitre is Canada's first lady of musical theatre, famous for countless Canadian and US performances, including her 2002 Tony award performance in Mamma Mia, and more recently her appearance as a judge on CBC's Over The Rainbow series.

Ms. Pitre will inspire and delight, performing such songs as La Vie En Rose, The Man That Got Away, Memories ("Cats"), The Winner Takes it All ( "Mamma Mia!"), Hymne A L'amour, Ne me quitte pas (Jacques Brel).

"Full-throated emotion and cut-to-the-chase honesty are her trademarks. She explores every aspect of heartbreak, from despair to defiance, in her own unique style." -Toronto Star

It takes a special kind of singer to inspire pathos with Abba. That's exactly what Louise Pitre did at the Royal Alex in Mamma Mia! - Toronto Life
