Acadian Director Resignation

HALIFAX, Jan. 11, 2013 /CNW/ - Acadian Mining Corporation ("Acadian" or the "Company") announces that Mr. Glenn Williams has resigned from the Board of Directors for personal reasons.
Acadian wishes to express its sincere gratitude for the services provided by Mr. Williams during his tenure as an Acadian director, and as Chair of the Audit Committee. Following the departure of Mr. Williams from Acadian's Board of Directors, Mr. Jascha Boge, who is currently a member of the Audit Committee, will become Chair of the Audit Committee, and Mr. William Bush, currently a director, will join the Audit Committee.
