Media who are planning on attending the oral statement hearings are asked to notify Panel staff (at the bottom of this advisory) in advance so appropriate planning can be put in place.

|
Delta Victoria Ocean Pointe Hotel & Spa 45 Songhees Road |
Ramada Victoria Hotel 123 Gorge Road East |

** The Panel is committed to a fair, transparent process and has
established a viewing room for all others to attend and watch a live
video broadcast of the hearing.
For specific session times and locations for both the oral statement hearings and the public viewing room, please visit the Panel's website (www.gatewaypanel.review.gc.ca ) and look under Hearing Schedule.
Media Procedure for the Oral Statement Hearings
Members of the media are welcome to attend the oral statement hearings.
Filming, recording and photographing will be allowed within
pre-established fixed locations in the hearing room. Media reporting or
interviews will not be allowed inside the hearing room. There is
limited space for media in the hearing room. Media may be asked to
rotate in and out in order to allow equal access for all media outlets.
Media are also welcome to observe the hearings in the public viewing room. Interviews or reporting from inside the viewing room will not be allowed. The Panel may modify the media procedure for the hearings at any time.
