MONTREAL, Nov. 14, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Media representatives are invited to attend the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal's business luncheon on Thursday, November 15 at noon. Ms. Julie Payette, Québec's Scientific Representative to the United States and Canadian Astronaut, will be speaking at this event, which has been organized as part of the Rendez-vous du Savoir, taking place at the Palais des congrès de Montréal on November 14 and 15.

In a constantly evolving technical world in which knowledge represents a fundamental resource, the acquisition of science and technology skills—at all education levels—and the promotion of scientific literacy in society in general have become essential.
