What: Leaders of Fort Nelson First Nation are traveling to Vancouver to discuss their concerns about the Province's intention to issue 20 long-term water withdrawal licenses for shale gas extraction in their territory. A rush by natural gas companies to acquire long-term rights to remove billions of litres of water from rivers and lakes must be stopped pending proper management, Fort Nelson First Nation is warning the BC government.
