MONTREAL, Nov. 12, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Canadian law firm Barsalou Lawson is adding another name to its shingle. The decision to become Barsalou Lawson Rheault reflects partner Sébastien Rheault's contribution to the firm's growth.

Sébastien Rheault (LL.L, MBA, admitted to Quebec and Ontario bars) began practicing tax law with a national firm in 1993. He joined Barsalou Lawson in 1997 and was made partner in 2000. His practice focuses primarily on transfer pricing and tax litigation. He represents taxpayers on audit, at competent authority (MAP, APA), at administrative appeals as well as before the Tax Court of Canada, the Federal Court (Trial Division), the Federal Court of Appeal and Quebec courts. He also advises on a variety of domestic and international tax matters affecting multinational corporations doing business in Canada.
He is a member and past President of the Tax Section of the Canadian Bar Association (Quebec Branch). He is participating in the OECD's working party No. 6 consultations on the transfer pricing aspects of intangible property. Sebastien is a frequent speaker and contributor to the Canadian Tax Foundation (CTF), the Association de planification fiscale et financière (APFF), the Association of Corporate Counsels (ACC) and other organizations. He is Peer Review Rated (Distinguished) by LexisNexis in Taxation.
