Dream Team Visits GTA to deliver the insider secrets to negotiate and win low priced Florida properties before they are all gone
TORONTO, Nov. 7, 2012 /CNW/ - MMD Realty, LLC, the leading South Florida real estate firm led by Michelle Farber Ross, and former Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback and CBS sports analyst, Dan Marino, is traveling to GTA to hold seminars on Florida Real Estate. Not your standard educational seminar, Ross' message will be to deliver the insider secrets on how to win the properties in bidding wars and tougher negotiations.
Michelle Farber Ross has been helping her clients to negotiate the best deals and below-market values on Florida residential, multi-family and commercial properties for years. "Inventory is 30% lower, a direct indication that the market will be turning around soon. If Canadians want to take advantage of the all-time low prices, now is the time, before the prices start climbing," explains Ross. "There are tricks of the trade to win the properties that clients desire, whether in a foreclosure bidding war, dealing with a bank in a short sale or in a multiple offer situation. I will be discussing these techniques at the upcoming seminars next week."
MMD Realty has invited Greenspoon Marder, a full-service, Florida-based business law firm of 31 years, to present critical information about provisioning the realty purchase prior to signing the contract to ensure flexible title structure that minimizes tax exposure. Uninformed and ill-prepared Canadians will be at a true disadvantage with respect to their cross border realty purchase and estate succession. The MMD Realty team, joined by Greenspoon Marder, will be visiting downtown Toronto on Tuesday, November 13th and Markham on Wednesday, November 14th with three seminars per day.
"One of our MMD agents is closing a deal tomorrow with Canadians who are buying a two bedroom, two bathroom foreclosure on the intracoastal for $189,000. There were five other offers on the property and our agent, Valerie Garazi used our techniques to make sure her clients had the winning bid," says Ross.
In the months following the seminars last year, Ross and her team closed several deals with Canadians and are continuing to manage the investments and properties purchased. "The time is right for Canadians to purchase properties in South Florida: the dollar is strong, the properties are well-priced and the rental market is strong, the key is to guide our clients to negotiate and win the properties," explains Ross.
Greenspoon Marder, which has 10 offices located throughout Florida, also has extensive experience with cross-border transactions and other matters. The firm's practice is concentrated in the areas of commercial and residential real estate acquisitions and development; timeshare and fractional ownership development; resorts; community association law; zoning and land use; banking and real estate finance; public finance; commercial litigation; corporate securities; corporate tax and transactions; healthcare law; foreclosure and bankruptcy; labor and employment; immigration; international law; tax, estate, probate and elder law; international tax; life settlement; disability insurance and insurance policy issues; family law; sports and entertainment; personal injury; equine law; regulatory compliance and defense.
