Press Invitation - The Ombudsperson releases the findings and recommendations of the 2011-2012 Annual Report

QUÉBEC CITY, Oct. 24, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - The Québec Ombudsman's 42nd Annual Report will be tabled in the National Assembly on Thursday, November 1, 2012, in accordance with section 29 of the Public Protector Act, which states that "any report to the National Assembly [...] by the Public Protector shall be tabled by the President within three days of its receipt."

On this occasion, Ombudsperson Raymonde Saint-Germain will meet with journalists:

	Date:		Thursday, November 1, 2012, immediately after Question Period (approximately 11 a.m.)
	Location:		Édifice Pamphile-Le May, 1035, rue des Parlementaires, Press Conference Room (Room 1.30).

Journalists wishing to receive a copy of the EMBARGOED annual report may come to Room RC-161 on the morning of the 1st between 8:45 a.m. and 10 a.m. Deputy Ombudsmen Claude Dussault and Marc-André Dowd will be available to answer any technical or comprehension-related questions.

Journalists wishing to attend the press conference who are not members of the Press Gallery must be accredited before arriving at the National Assembly. Accreditation can be obtained from the Parliamentary Correspondents' Service, at 418 643-1357 or [e-mail].
