Hudson's Bay Company Files Preliminary Prospectus For Initial Public Offering

TORONTO, Oct. 17, 2012 /CNW/ - Hudson's Bay Company announced today that it has filed a preliminary prospectus with the securities regulatory authorities in each of the provinces and territories of Canada in connection with a proposed initial public offering of its common shares. A copy of this preliminary prospectus will be available on SEDAR (www.sedar.com).
The offering is being made through a syndicate of underwriters led by RBC Capital Markets, BMO Capital Markets, CIBC and BofA Merrill Lynch who will act as joint bookrunners.
