Media Advisory - Hope Live Songwriter's Circle on October 15

OTTAWA, Oct. 15, 2012 /CNW/ - Hope Live returns to the Great Canadian Theatre Company for a fourth year to host a unique evening of food, friends and music. Recognized as one of Ottawa's premier events, this high-profile gala brings together the nation's political, business, and media communities in an intimate theatre setting for an experience unlike any other in the city.

This year, award winning Canadian singer-songwriters Jann Arden, Alan Doyle, and Dan Mangan will be part of Hope Live Songwriters' Circle sharing songs and stories in an acoustic environment.  Host Rick Mercer returns once again to bring laughter and levity to the sold-out crowd.

Funds raised throughout the evening will be used to support Fertile Future, a national charitable foundation working to enrich the lives of young people diagnosed with cancer by promoting awareness and understanding of fertility preservation and survivor health care issues. The organization educates health care practitioners on providing timely information on fertility preservation options and long-term health care issues.
