CFIB teams up with Payworks to assist small businesses with their payroll needs
TORONTO, Oct. 10, 2012 /CNW/ - Canadian-owned Payworks is partnering with the Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB) to offer CFIB members across Canada exclusive discounted pricing on payroll services. Payworks is the newest member of CFIB's Privilege Programs group of partners.
"This is a great opportunity for us to showcase our services to the members of the CFIB. We recognize the value of independent Canadian businesses, and the Payworks customer base is a direct reflection of the CFIB membership," said Payworks president Barb Gamey. "We were thrilled to participate in this loyalty program and we worked hard to develop an enticing and competitive value offering that will be significant to CFIB members across the country. We are confident that the membership will be well-served."
This new relationship will offer CFIB members payroll solutions tailored to their needs. The Simple-and-Smart plan was specifically designed for CFIB members, the majority of which pay fewer than 10 employees. Those members with more employees or more complex needs can choose the Flexible-and-Affordable plan. Both solutions include direct deposits, year-end filing and support, Records of Employment and online employee self-service.
"Red tape and paperwork are among the biggest concerns to small business, so I'm delighted CFIB has partnered with a company that specializes in meeting the needs of entrepreneurs," said CFIB president Dan Kelly. "This partnership between Payworks and CFIB will help a lot of small businesses save time and money in meeting their obligations to employees and the demands of various levels of government."
