QUEBEC, Oct. 7, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - The three organizations co-hosting the 2012 International Summit of Cooperatives, being held from October 8 - 11, 2012, invite representatives of the media to a press conference on Monday, October 8, 2012 for the Summit's kick off.

The 2012 International Summit of Cooperatives will bring together near 2,800 decision makers and influential people from the cooperative and mutualist field, representing 91 countries. One of the topics they will discuss is the major issues facing cooperative businesses around the world.

In addition to internationally-renowned speakers, the 2012 International Summit of Cooperatives will be noted for groundbreaking studies on the cooperative business model that will be revealed during the event.
