Media Advisory - Jack Mintz to Rate Energy Royalty Regimes Across Canada and Internationally

CALGARY, Oct. 2, 2012 /CNW/ - Media are invited to a media conference featuring Prof. Jack Mintz, Director of The School of Public Policy.

At the event, Prof. Mintz will release a comparative report of Canadian and international jurisdictions and answer the question: Which jurisdictions have the best royalty regimes in terms of competitiveness and return to citizens?

Mintz will point out wide disparities across Canadian provinces that have real impacts on the ability of these jurisdictions to see a return from their energy sectors.

The media conference should be of major interest not only to energy and political reporters from Alberta and BC, but from all energy producing provinces.
