Counsel Portfolio Services Appoints Three New Sub-advisors for Counsel Fixed Income

MISSISSAUGA, ON, Oct. 1, 2012 /CNW/ - Counsel Portfolio Services announced today the appointment of Putnam Investments Inc., Franklin Templeton Investments Corporation and Mackenzie Financial Corporation as sub-advisors for Counsel Fixed Income effective immediately.  Putnam will assume a high yield fixed income mandate, Franklin Templeton will assume a global fixed income mandate and Mackenzie will assume a Canadian core fixed income mandate.

Concurrently, Mackenzie Financial Corporation has been appointed sub advisor to Counsel Money Market.
