Françoise Lyon Leads Way in Serving Women's Wealth Market
TORONTO, Sept. 26, 2012 /CNW/ - Françoise Lyon, Adm. a. Senior Vice President, Pembroke Private Wealth Management is among the first financial professionals to attend Leveraging Your Natural Advantage, the premier event of Cannon Financial Institute's Women's Wealth Alliance. The Women's Wealth Alliance is an exclusive network designed for women professionals within the financial services industry. The Women's Wealth Alliance is dedicated to serving the growing market of women investors and the unique challenges they face in the marketplace. Through this alliance, women advisors are able to connect with industry thought leaders, form support teams, network through virtual and on-site conferences and serve as advocates for women's financial issues.
"The creation of the Women's Wealth Alliance is in response to the industry's need to address the opportunity presented by affluent and high net worth women. These women will become the driving force of North America's investment community in the near future, as they make up more than a third of banking and investment clients. In volatile times like the present, financial service professionals require the skill set of a "trusted advisor". To attract and retain high net worth women as clients, advisors must not only understand their clients' specific wealth needs, but also possess the conversational skills to communicate in a way that the client comprehends and appreciates. Cannon, with its half century-long history of providing advisors with the skills and tools they need to thrive, is uniquely positioned to help practitioners tap this lucrative and underserved market," says Phil Buchanan, Chairman, CWS® Advisory Board and CEO, Cannon Financial Institute.
