Media Advisory/Photo Opportunity - City Core Development to Host Rare Design Competition To Determine Architectural Firm for Harmony Village Lake Simcoe

TORONTO, Aug. 1, 2012 /CNW/ - City Core Development will be hosting a one-of-a-kind architectural design competition on August 1 at the AGO in Toronto.  With the commitment to develop a showpiece residential community along the last remaining large portion of Barrie's waterfront, the competition will challenge four renowned Toronto architects to present their best design for the new development of Harmony Village Lake Simcoe.

Who will design the urban village, where the amenities of resort-like living meet the practicality of everyday life? The high profile jury consists of internationally recognized architects, media personalities and architectural critics as well as a representative of City Core Development who will consider design excellence and evaluate the presentation on: image, sustainability, master plan, function and marketability.

Join us for an exciting competition and learn more about Harmony Village Lake Simcoe. A reception will be held in the evening where the architects and judges will be available for interviews about the competition.
