Media Advisory/Photo Op - Anti-distracted driving campaign launch

TORONTO, July 27, 2012 /CNW/ -

What:		CAA South Central Ontario, the Ministry of Transportation, the Ontario Provincial Police and members of the Traffic Safety Coalition will launch a four-week long anti-distracted driving initiative. The aim of the campaign is to raise awareness regarding high-risk behaviours behind the wheel and encourage safe driving habits in hopes of reducing collisions and fatalities on our roads.
When:		Wednesday August 1, 2012 10:30 A.M.: News conference Missing: Anti-distracted driving campaign official launch. 11:00 A.M.: Photo Op Drivers take to the track in go karts to demonstrate the challenges and potential dangers of being distracted while texting behind the wheel.
