Media advisory - CEP President Dave Coles to respond to Premier Brad Wall tomorrow

REGINA, SK, July 23, 2012 /CNW/ - Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada President Dave Coles will deliver the union's response to Saskatchewan's labour consultations tomorrow in Regina. The Saskatchewan government recently launched a consultation process that puts into question basic labour rights.

"Brad Wall's government is proposing to flout labour standards set by the Supreme Court and international labour law" said Dave Coles, National President of CEP. "If the Premier really wants to turn back the clock on workers' rights, he is going to be met with a fight."

The event will take place on a historically important day, as July 24 marks the beginning, after the end of the doctors' strike, of the model of health care that benefits all Canadians today.
