What is Twitter?
Twitter is a microblogging platform that allows users to post 140-character messages known as 'Tweets.' It is increasingly being cited as a source of breaking news, and since winning an award at the South By Southwest conference in 2007, the number of people using the service to communicate has exploded.
How is CNW Group using Twitter?
CNW Group is using a series of Twitter accounts to distribute client news. These accounts publish news releases from our categorized RSS feeds, enabling Twitter users to follow them and be alerted when another release is issued by CNW Group.
