    Toronto Crime Stoppers unveils new campaign that's hitting the streets

    TORONTO, Oct. 22 /CNW/ - After an extremely successful "Cash for Guns"
campaign in 2005, Toronto Crime Stoppers, with the support of Toronto Police
Chief William Blair and its marketing partners, will unveil its latest gun
violence prevention initiative and public service campaign at a news
conference on Tuesday.
    The "Cash for Guns" campaign aims to encourage people to come forward
anonymously with any first-hand knowledge of where an illegal or crime-related
handgun could be located, and to educate the community about locations where
these guns are typically stashed.
