OTTAWA, Nov. 20 /CNW Telbec/ - Canadian Medical Association (CMA) President, Dr. Anne Doig, will be the luncheon speaker at the Economic Club of Canada on Wednesday, Nov. 25th at the Sutton Place in Toronto.
In her speech "Health Care Must be About Patients not Politics" Dr. Doig will talk about the need to transform how patients receive health care in Canada. The key is patients, not politics. Dr. Doig will unveil elements of the CMA plan, which is being built upon an unprecedented effort by Canada's physicians to reach out to patients and put their interests back at the heart of health care.
