TORONTO, Nov. 3 /CNW/ - Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC), on behalf of
Canada's home, car and business insurers, is joining forces with the Operation
Red Nose provincial host, Ontario Safety League (OSL), to get holiday revelers
- and their vehicles - home safely in seven Ontario communities during the

Operation Red Nose is a free designated-driver service that helps keep
roads safe. Last year, in Ontario alone, the program provided 4,931 safe rides
home with the help of more than 3,000 dedicated volunteers.

Vice-President, Ontario, IBC, will announce details of the 2008 program.
Special guests will include The Honourable James Bradley, Minister of
Transportation; Brian Patterson, President, OSL; and Operation Red Nose's
mascot, Rudy.
The news conference will take place at 11:30 a.m. at Queen's Park,
