Intertek to Offer Educational Sessions on Global Supply, Quality and Compliance as Part of New York City's World Trade Week

seminars in association with the World Trade Week - New York City event
occurring May 19-23, 2008. The free seminars, to be held at the Manhattan
(SIBL) branch of the New York Public Library and Flushing Community Library,
are set to address specific concerns of manufacturers, suppliers, retailers,
importers and exporters facing the challenges presented by the global
marketplace; and will include challenges presented by REACH; compliance with
global legislation (including RoHS, WEEE, China RoHS, Korea RoHS, CE Marking

chain management.

      December 1, 2008, companies will be required to pre-register their
      products with the European Chemical Association (ECHA) in order to
