WENDAKE, QC, June 2 /CNW Telbec/ - The First Nations Education Council (FNEC) will hold the second edition of its Inter-school Games, from June 4 to 7, at Collège Shawinigan. The objective of these Games is to offer a motivating sports activity to the network of First Nations schools of the FNEC member communities so as to palliate the absence of sports and recreation programs in First Nations schools due to the lack of funding. Around 300 young students from elementary and secondary schools are expected, and will participate in several sports events, namely volleyball, basketball, floor hockey and athletics.
