Media tour of 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games venues in Whistler on July 26th
Registration required for media access to exclusive 2007 Whistler venue
construction tour
VANCOUVER, July 20 /CNW/ - The Vancouver Organizing Committee for the
2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC) will host its third annual
media tour of Whistler venues on Thursday, July 26, 2007 from 7:30 am to
2:00 pm.
Members of the media will have access to previously unavailable photo
opportunities of the venues and are encouraged to participate. This will be
the only media opportunity for photos and b-roll during the busy 2007
construction season. In addition, this will be the final chance to view
construction activity at the Whistler Nordic Venue, Whistler Creekside and the
Whistler Sliding Centre prior to completion in the fall of this year.
Venues on the tour:
- Whistler Nordic Venue (Olympic Games: biathlon, cross-country skiing,
Nordic combined, ski jumping; Paralympic Games: biathlon, cross-
country skiing)
