Thousands expected to line up for hot Boxing Day door crashers
40 Percent of recent survey respondents will buy entertainment, consumer
electronic or computer items on Boxing Day
TORONTO, Dec. 26 /CNW/ - Best Buy is preparing for Boxing Day, Canada's
Busiest Shopping Day and will be opening their doors to thousands of shoppers
across the country for some of the lowest prices of the 2007 season on
entertainment and electronic technology items. Best Buy will offer customers
unbelievable Boxing Day pricing on this year's hottest flat-panel TV's,
laptops, computers, accessories, digital cameras, MP3 players and hundreds of
consumer electronics and entertainment products.
Best Buy Canada recently conducted a survey with Ipsos-Reid that showed
40 percent of respondents will buy entertainment, consumer electronic or
computer items on Boxing Day. The survey also showed that shoppers are more
likely to wait for Boxing Day sales to buy big ticket electronics and computer
products.

Ontario (except Gatineau) stores will open at 6am local
time
Gatineau store will open 10am local time
Quebec Stores will open at 1pm local time

Nova Scotia store will open at 6am local time

Opportunities: Media including TV crews, reporters and photographers are
welcome to visit a Best Buy location in their city.
Hundreds of customers are expected to line-up and store
managers may be available for comment.
Best Buy will kick off its Boxing Day sale early online at
www.BestBuy.ca. The online Boxing Day sale will begin at 8pm ET Monday,
December 24th giving customers access to incredible savings. The online sale
will last until 11:59pm ET, December 27th.
