Northquest Ltd. is a Canadian based exploration company. The Company has a gold exploration project in Nunavut, Canada and five gold exploration properties in the Republic of Mali. The strategy of the company is to explore for gold in permissive terrains which have not achieved exploration maturity. In order to acquire large, prospective, exploration projects in areas that have not reached exploration maturity, the Company will accept a certain amount of country risk.
The objective of Northquest is to identify, acquire and explore mineral properties and make new discoveries that can provide exceptional value to shareholders.
Republic of Mali:
Northquest Ltd. has 5 projects in Mali, viz.: Bananko (133 square km), Silimana (110 square km), Banmba (118 square km), Debela (113 square km) and Dar Salam (220 square km) for a total of 700 square km of mineral rights.
The Pistol Bay Project consists of 1,100 square km of mineral rights. The geology of the property is a mirror image of the prolific Meliadine trend (Agnico-Eagle Mine, 5 million ounces at 7.4 grams per tonne).
Field work including 2,500 metres of drilling wrapped up in September 2011.
